Open Clay Studio
The Hoffman Center Clay Studio is the only of its kind in the North Oregon Coast to offer both instruction and open studio hours. Monthly classes include wheel throwing, hand-building, and related ceramic techniques. The studio is open three times a week for anyone to come work on clay projects.
Manzanita Writers’ Series
The Manzanita Writers’ Series is an ongoing program at the Hoffman Center. The series showcases local writing in the community, promotes literacy and writing programs, and brings well-known authors to the area. A published author from the area is featured each month. Following the reading is a brief Q&A session, book signing, and an open mic. It’s a wonderful experience for writers and readers alike!
